Kiboko's Fully Serviced Camping Safaris invite guests to sit back, relax and take in the amazing scenery of Southern Africa while we take care of ALL your chores! Unlike the majority of Overland Touring companies that make guests work for their supper (cooking, cleaning, setting up camp), our fully serviced camping safaris are exactly that: fully serviced. You won't have to lift a finger as we prepare your meals, secure your tent and make sure we don't leave a mess.

Our fully serviced camping safaris are specially designed for seasoned (40+) travellers who want an overlanding adventure in the wild without the hassles of camping after a long day.

Kiboko camping groups are kept relatively small (up to 16 participants) with a wide range of nationalities and adventurous (40+) travellers.

Fully Serviced Camping Safaris are aimed at active individuals looking for an unforgettable holiday.

Single travelers are always welcome. Should you want your own tent, you will be charged a single supplement rate or we can pair you with a like-minded traveller of the same gender. One month before departure if there is nobody to share with then you will have to pay the single supplement.

  • Your 3-man crew of experienced safari guides (including a cook) are dedicated to making each trip memorable and rewarding.
  • Fully Serviced Camping means we take care of all camping chores: cooking, cleaning, pitching and packing tents.
  • Delicious campfire meals are included in the tour cost on camping safaris.
  • Dinner is special in the bush with a lantern-lit sit-down feast under African skies!
  • Our comfortable 2-person domed tents are the roomiest on the Overland market (L2.5m x W2.5m x H1.9m)
  • A good night's sleep is guaranteed on our comfortable camp beds.
  • We provide camp beds, small pillows, sleeping bags and folding chairs.

All meals on our Fully Serviced Camping Safaris are prepared by your own cook. The menu is delicious with an emphasis on hearty wholesome meals to keep up your energy. Relax after meals while the Safari crew takes care of the dishes.

Our continental breakfasts include cereal, toast (with jams and spreads), yogurt, tea, coffee & hot chocolate. We serve cooked brunches on game drives with egg, bacon, sausage and beans.

We keep it light and energizing with a "cold picnic" of salads, deli meats, a cheese board and fresh bread. Lunch is served at the campsite or scenic picnic spots en route.

Main meals are prepared over an open fire or on gas in the wild. African food is generally a meat, starch and vegetable. You will enjoy traditional braais (barbecues) and potjies (a stew slow-cooked for hours on the fire). Dinner is a special al fresco affair at a lantern lit table under the stars.

Our menus are carefully planned to complement each tour route. All food supplies are pre-purchased before the tour begins. Only perishables (bread, fruit and vegetables) are purchased en route. All our meat is bought fresh from reliable suppliers in Cape Town, Swakopmund and Victoria Falls then vacuum packed and frozen for the trip. We stand by the high quality of our meat.

Our policy is not to purchase meat en route at local markets to avoid possible health risks.
