of Nambia
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Etosha is lauded as one of the largest savannah conservation areas in all of Africa and features every member of the iconic Big 5. A wonderous characteristic of the park is a salt pan so large it is visible from space – who wouldn’t want a photo of that?
SOSSUSVLEI
The Sossusvlei is a salt-clay pan surrounded by vivid rust-coloured dunes reaching heights of around 300 metres. Contrasting colours and varying textures enable beautiful images to be captured of this incredible phenomenon. Every 10 or so years following heavy rains, the salt pan fills to form a lake. Due to the impermeable clay the water remains for some time and provides a striking contrast of sand dunes and turquoise water
