On a 3-4 star Kiboko Lodge Safari, you will explore the most popular overland routes of Southern Africa while staying in some of the best lodges along the way. Adventure travel doesn’t have to mean sleeping in a tent or roughing it! Now you can enjoy the best of both worlds. Take in some of the world’s most amazing scenery and wildlife by day before enjoying all the little luxuries of our quality lodges each night.
Too many Overland Adventure companies offer lodge tours in conjunction with their camping tours which leads to very basic accommodation on safari with shared bathrooms and meals taken in the campsites. Kiboko knows our seasoned travellers (the 40+) want to feel special which is why all our carefully selected 3-4 star lodges have private en-suite facilities and good beds to ensure you’re re-charged and ready to go for the following days adventure! All breakfasts & dinners are taken in the comforts of the lodges we stay in. These are usually buffet style with the opportunity to sample local African cuisine and the game meats on offer.
Our tour groups are kept relatively small with a maximum of 16 people. We tend to have a range of nationalities who are in the 40+ age group and are upbeat “young at heart” travelers. Our exciting tours are aimed at active individuals looking for an adventurous holiday.
Single travellers are always welcome. You will be charged a single supplement for your own room or we can pair you with a like-minded traveller of the same gender. Should no one be available for pairing a month prior to departure, you will be charged the single supplement.

Some lodges offer set or a’ la carte menus. There are a variety of restaurants to enjoy in larger towns and cities allowing you some free time away from the group to sample the local cuisine.
