Cross into Zimbabwe and safari in the world renowned Hwange National Park and track Rhinos in the ancient Motobo National Park. Into Botswana and relax on the banks of the Chobe River and experience breathtaking sunsets and game viewing in the Chobe National Park. Ending the tour with the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls.

Tour is operated in a 16 seater Mercedes Sprinter vehicle.
Air conditioning, fridge, USB points, reclining seats, trailer for luggage.


Group Size is from four to sixteen travellers.

This tour is a lodge tour using three to four star lodges, all with private en-suite facilities. One staff member takes care of the driving and guiding and hosting the clients while on tour. All breakfasts and dinners are enjoyed in the lodges.

Itinerary

On arrival clients are transferred to their hotel. The tour starts with a pre departure meeting at 18h00 in the reception of the hotel.

Accommodated Safari Club (or similar). (Dinner included).

We depart Safari Club in Johannesburg at 08h00 and travel to the famous Kruger National Park. The largest game reserve in South Africa is home to the Big Five, as well as numerous other species of fauna and flora.

We travel via the Panorama Route of Blyde River Canyon, Bourkes Luck Potholes & Gods Window. We arrive late afternoon to our lodge.

Day 3 – full day game drive inside the park in open 4×4 vehicles.

Accommodated Hippo Hollow Estate (or similar). (Breakfasts included. Lunches & dinners own expense)

Day 4: We depart the Kruger area and travel north through the Limpopo Province towards the Botswana border. Mapungubwe National Park and Mapungubwe Hill is the centre of the World Heritage Landscape where the first southern African kingdom was established in the 13th Century and San rock art sites.

Day 5: In the morning we enjoy a morning walk to view the Kaoxa Bushman paintings and a Sunset drive with spectacular views over the Baobab laden landscape.
Accommodated Mopane Bush Lodge Wilderness Tented Camp (or similar).

An early departure takes us 2 hours to Beit Bridge border post where we cross into Zimbabwe. Entering Zimbabwe we travel to our lodge located on the edge of the World Heritage site – Matopos National Park. The following morning is spent on a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with one of Africa’s most iconic – and most endangered – species, the rhino. Home to a population of both black and white rhino, Zimbabwe remains a stronghold for these peaceful and ancient animals. Brace yourself for the encounter of a lifetime when you find yourself face to face with this illusive species by vehicle and on foot.

After our morning excursion we travel through Zimbabwe arriving late afternoon to Hwange National Park. We enjoy a sunset open 4×4 vehicle game drive in the private concession bordering Hwange National Park. The following day enjoy morning and afternoon 4×4 game drives in the private concession.
Accommodated Camp Silwane (or similar). (Breakfasts & Dinners included. Lunch on Day 8 included)

We cross into Botswana and our lodge situated on the banks of the Chobe River. Chobe is famous for its beautiful scenery, magnificent sunsets and abundance of wildlife and birdlife. The following day is spent on an early morning Game drive in Chobe National Park and a sunset Game viewing boat cruise on the Chobe River. Accommodated Chobe Safari Lodge (or similar). (Breakfasts & Dinners included. Lunches own expense)

Departing after breakfast we arrive midday to Victoria Falls – without doubt one of the greatest and most spectacular sights in Africa (entrance own account). The afternoon and following morning is free to view the Falls, browse the local markets and to experience the many optional activities on offer in the adrenalin capital of Africa including helicopter flights over the Falls, sunset boat cruise etc (own expense).
