Our Guides

make your Safari unforgettable!

Your guide is incredibly versatile. He has in-depth knowledge of every location you encounter. He knows regional fauna and flora and gets you safely from one scenic highlight to the next. Out on camping safaris, your Guide tells enchanting African tales around the campfire together with two camp assistants that set up camp, whip up a tasty meal and wash up. Always friendly and approachable.

Kiboko guides are the best in the Overland industry. The quality of our Guides ensures your Kiboko Safari is an adventure tour worth taking.

Hailing from Zimbabwe, our Guides are dedicated professionals. They have wide-ranging experience of the African bush and intimate knowledge of the countries we travel through. We employ our Guides full-time and retain their many years of Overland experience. They are all licensed by FGASA (Field Guides Association of Southern Africa) and have Zimbabwean and South African guides licenses. Our Guides and assistants all have First Aid qualifications should any medical emergency arise

Accommodated specialist

Senior Guide, Misheck, started out as a kitchen boy in Zimbabwe and studied F&B management until he was offered a job at a Private Lodge outside of Harare where his love for the bush began. With a heavy-duty driving license, he joined a safari company and kept improving his skills as a Guide, working throughout Southern and Eastern Africa. Misheck joined Kiboko in 2007 and is now an integral part of our team. He consistently runs great tours and warm feedback from customers with his unruffled demeanor and wealth of knowledge.

Master Guide

Adam stared out as a chef then joined an Overland company as a driver before becoming a senior Guide. He has both Zimbabwe and South African National Guides licenses. Adam joined Kiboko in 2008 and is now one our most respected and astute guides. With over 15 years in the industry, he deals quickly with most situations. Adam is often a requested tour leader when past clients travel again. He is an excellent ambassador for Kiboko.

Fauna & Flora fundi!

Collen was born in a Conservation Area in Zimbabwe. He began working for the Forestry Commission as a pump attendant at a watering hole. Spending so much time in the bush has given him a keen understanding of wildlife and he qualified as a Guide before working with several safari companies. Collen joined Kiboko in 2008 and has since achieved many licenses and qualifications. His attention to customers, courtesy and outgoing personality make him an asset to our company.

Namibia specialist

Lucky began work as a gardener for people who owned a Safari company in Victoria Falls and they saw his passion and hired him. He specialized in the adrenalin activities on offer at Victoria Falls and became an instructor in high wire gorge swings, abseiling and flying fox. He joined Kiboko in 2008 and completed his South African Guides license and now leads many of our tours. Lucky is always enthusiastic and has a lot of wit. He is a very popular member of our team and receives excellent tour reports month after month.
